Background to MUCEP
MUCEP - VISION
The MUCEP vision is to become a national centre in teaching and learning, research and service for the palaeontologies and to be recognised globally for high quality, innovative teaching and pure, applied and strategic research.

MUCEP - STRATEGIC PLAN
As members of the Macquarie University Centre for Ecostratigraphy & Palaeobiology (MUCEP), we are committed to becoming the prime focus of palaeontological teaching and learning, research and service in Australia through networking of palaeontologists and biostratigraphers.
Goals:
MUCEP as the prime focus of palaeontological teaching and learning in Australia.
MUCEP as the prime focus of palaeontological research in Australia.
MUCEP as the prime focus of palaeontological networking in Australia.
MUCEP as a major focus of palaeontological outreach in Australia.
