26 June 2008   Antarctic Conference for Gondwanan Palaeontology, March 2009
The Conference will be held on the Antarctic Peninsula in March 2009 and features site visits to several important palaeontological and geological sites.

    Applications are now being taken from Australian and International students for a new coursework Masters degree in Palaeobiology to be run in 2004. Details on the course and links to the appropriate application forms can be found by following the above link

    At last, issue Number 27 of nomen nudem has been published and is now available in electronic form. It can be viewed on the new AAP site or downloaded as a PDF file.

25 Nov 2001   6 - 10 July 2002: First International Palaeontological Congress (IPC 2002), Sydney, Australia: SECOND CIRCULAR NOW OUT!
    The Second Circular for the First International Palaeontological Conress (IPC2002) to he held at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia from the 6th to the 10th of July 2002 has been released. It can be read on at the above link or downloaded as a PDF file from the IPC2002 Download page. The circular contains details of the associated pre and post-congress field trips, accommodations, social events etc, as well as the final pricing details. The field trips all have a limited number of spaces so be sure to register (and pay) early to avoid disappointment. Registration Forms can also be obtained from the Downloads Page.

    "Palaeozoics of Central Asia: Mongolia and the Altai Mountains of SW Siberia. Joint Field Meetings of IGCP 410 and 421".
To be held in Novosibirsk, Russia (with an associated field trip looking at the Ordovician - early Carboniferous of the Altai Mountains) from 3 - 21 August 2001 and in Ulaanbatar, Mongolia with a field trip to the Ordivician - early Carboniferous of south west Mongolia from 21 August - 6 September 2001.
