How much can I earn?

Graduate salaries in geoscience are high and currently exceed those for other science careers.   A graduate could expect to be offered a package up $65,000 (APESMA, 2006.   2005/06 APESMA/FASTS Professional Scientist Remuneration Survey Report).

wages

After 5-10 years, a geoscientist could expect a package of over $100,000; again ahead of those in other science areas (APESMA, 2006.   2005/06 APESMA/FASTS Professional Scientist Remuneration Survey Report).
