The department of Earth and Planetary Sciences offers study in the disciplines of Geology, Geophysics and Palaeontology.
Earth and Planetary Sciences studies at Macquarie can be integrated

Combining
Earth and Planetary Science units with biology, archaeology,
history, chemistry, maths and physics, economics or law can lead

Undergraduate courses in Environmental & Life Sciences are available to both FULL TIME and PART TIME students. Some of the Units can be studied by Distance Education (external). Single Environmental & Life Science Units are also available for NON-AWARD study.
Non-award study is available for students who do not wish to enrol in a program of study to count towards a degree or diploma. Both undergraduate and postgraduate courses may be taken as non-award. Entry as a non-award student is based on individual assessment for each Unit.
