A PRODUCTION UNIT: RICEGROWERS CO-OPERATIVE LIMITED
The HSC syllabus requires that students conduct a case study of
one production unit such as a farm, factory, or service provider from your
chosen productive activity, in order to learn about how global changes
in this productive activity impact at the local scale. Below is a case
study for rice cultivation focussing on Ricegrowers Co-operative Limited
(RCL) - one of Australia's most successful exporters of rice (Fogarty,
1995).
