Successful Graduates
The University of Portsmouth program identifies four key features of graduates who are successful in today's labour market. They are those who:
- Know their strengths and skills and are able to relate these to different jobs.
- Know the opportunities that are available - i.e. in jobs both related to their discipline and those open to graduates from any discipline.
- Market themselves effectively when applying for jobs.
- Find hidden jobs, as a very high proportion of jobs are not advertised.
