Graeme Aplin BA(Hons)DipEd.(Melbourne), MA(Monash), PhD (Macquarie),Senior Research Fellow in Human Geography.
Graeme has research and teaching interests in historical geography, particularly the development of Sydney; in the perception and conservation of both natural and cultural heritage, especially at the level of world heritage; and in environmental issues more generally, including the operationalisation of sustainability concepts and international agreements. He believes strongly in the need for interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches to environmental issues, and in the key role of geography and geographers
