Peter Curson is Emeritus Professor in Human Geography. A former Dean of the Division of Environmental and Life Sciences and Head of the School of Earth Sciences, his interests are in Medical Geography, Population Health-Environmental interactions, Historical Demography, Emerging Infectious disease, the Geography of Epidemics, Population and Security and Climate Change and Human Health. He is the author/editor of a number of books including studies of historical epidemics, Bubonic Plague, Infectious Disease ans Security and Natural Disasters.
