Frank Siciliano is an economic geographer who has works in a number of areas including ageing, health and population, Indigenous issues and natural hazards. He has a strong focus on the quantitative data cycle - collection, validation, analysis and presentation - and the application of GIS tools to visualise and analyse demographic, economic and environmental information.
He has worked in a number of Local, State and Commonwealth government agencies and on international development projects. Organisations concerned with urban and regional planning and policy making, health and community service planning and research, statistical capacity building and technical assistance have been his main areas of employment.
Frank is currently working with Maquarie University's Centre for Research on Social Inclusion on projects related to data mapping.
