Environmental Science focuses on the biophysical environment. We research and teach about the atmosphere, oceans, soils, cryosphere and the role humans play within these systems. Environmental Science has three particular areas of expertise in Geoecology (Soils, Fluvial and Quaternary), Atmospheric Science (Climate change, biometeorology, mathematical modelling of the atmosphere and ocean, applied climatology) and Geographical Information Science.
