A/Prof Humphreys' research interests lie in geomorphic processes affecting hillslope mantles including bioturbation, rainwash and various forms of mass movement; developinga dynamic model of soil formation of global applicability; and environmental change as it influences the evolution of agricultural systems in the south-west Pacific and south-east Asia and Australia.
