GEOGRAPHICAL
SCALE is one of the foundational concepts of
Geography, yet it remains a chaotic and poorly understood concept. Throughout the
1990s, Richie Howitt, along with Bob Fagan and Ron Horvath and others, have
pursued a long debate and discussion about geographical scale.
This project is an open-ended,
long term theoretical project. The purpose of this Home Page is to collect
together materials and links to relevant sites to advance discussion of this
concept.
